8Panda Recruitment is a technology recruitment company operating in the United Kingdom. We act as a data controller for the personal information described in this policy.

For candidates we collect the details you share with us: name, contact details, CV, work history, skills, salary expectations, right to work information and interview feedback.

For client contacts we collect business contact details and information about the roles you are hiring for.

We also collect basic technical data when you use this website, such as pages viewed and approximate location, to keep the site working and improve it.

To match candidates with relevant roles, to represent candidates to employers with their permission, to manage the hiring process, and to meet our legal and contractual obligations.

We never send a CV to a client without the candidate's prior agreement.

We rely on legitimate interests for core recruitment activity, contract performance where we have an agreement with you, consent for marketing communications, and legal obligation where the law requires it.

We share candidate details with prospective employers only with permission. We use trusted service providers for email, applicant tracking and IT infrastructure, all bound by confidentiality obligations.

We do not sell personal data.

Candidate records are retained for up to two years from the last meaningful contact, unless you ask us to remove them sooner or a legal obligation requires longer retention.

You can request access to your data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion, restriction of processing, or a copy in a portable format. You can also object to processing based on legitimate interests.
