About this role
A digital media group with a large in-house technology function. The technology function is growing, and this infrastructure engineer role sits inside a team that owns delivery end to end.
You will work closely with product, engineering and the wider business to ship work that gets used. The environment is office based with a collaborative team culture in Edinburgh.
This is a permanent position at mid level, paying £50k to £70k depending on experience.
What you'll do
- Own delivery of cloud & infrastructure work across Azure and Kubernetes.
- Work with product and stakeholders to turn requirements into shipped outcomes.
- Raise the technical standard through review, documentation and pragmatic decisions.
- Support colleagues through mentoring, pairing and knowledge sharing.
What we're looking for
- Commercial experience in a comparable infrastructure engineer role.
- Strong hands-on capability with Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, Linux.
- Clear communication with both technical and non-technical people.
- A track record of shipping work in a production environment.
