About this role
A clean energy company building the software behind smart grid operations. The technology function is growing, and this platform engineer role sits inside a team that owns delivery end to end.
You will work closely with product, engineering and the wider business to ship work that gets used. The environment is fully remote with occasional meet-ups in Amsterdam.
This is a permanent position at mid level, paying £60k to £80k depending on experience.
What you'll do
- Own delivery of cloud & infrastructure work across Google Cloud and Docker.
- Work with product and stakeholders to turn requirements into shipped outcomes.
- Raise the technical standard through review, documentation and pragmatic decisions.
- Support colleagues through mentoring, pairing and knowledge sharing.
What we're looking for
- Commercial experience in a comparable platform engineer role.
- Strong hands-on capability with Google Cloud, Docker, Linux, AWS.
- Clear communication with both technical and non-technical people.
- A track record of shipping work in a production environment.
